Come on man, you have to separate between taking bird captures in captivity ie a zoo compared to out in the wilderness. I think the "real" captures are taken out in the wilderness. In the zoo it is a no brainer to get close up and aim and fire off. I just did myself on my last post.
On the other hand this is a nice shot - Well done Jeremy.
Still I find it a bit geaky to give you these superlatives.
What is the difficulty - Aim and fire off!
You did well though.
The post editing with the background looks good.
Still I think you very seldom challenge yourself enough. Try do something outside of your safety zone for once...

Beautiful bird, nice lighting, some areas like tha back of the head and the beak are abit soft, maybe because of the background procesing...!!!

Nice colors, lighting and framing!

Edit:
Wait a minute, I've just read this "I completly removed the background wich was not good ", how did you do that? Lasso tool? So, I think you should post this artwork as a manipulation. Right?
01/11/08 @782
i don't think it belongs to photomanip thought, the user is told that i removed the BG... the main subject isnt been manipulated in any way so it would looks weird in photomanip
